Meet Belinda

Welcome Belinda Bullard-Berryman as Aries’ new Human Resource Director! Belinda has 20 years with various positions in the Human Resources field that have led her to her current role here at Aries. When asked how she chose to work in human resources she responded “I love working with people and helping people so it worked out well. I have been working in HR ever since.”

A little background! Belinda graduated from the University of Houston, Victoria with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and holds her SPHR and PHR certifications. Her biggest inspiration, she says, is  “My son Darnell is my biggest inspiration. He passed away back in 2009 and I live my life to make him proud.  I went back to school to get my degree and received both my SPHR and PHR certifications in his honor.”

Belinda’s Vision for Aries in the Future

At Aries, we take pride in having team members who are passionate, knowledgeable, and goal-oriented on board so we are thrilled that Belinda has decided to take her next career step with Aries. She says, “Aries is a company where I can bring my HR knowledge and blend with the current foundation to elevate the department to the next level. The opportunities are limitless and the future is bright from an HR perspective. I am only a month in and already see areas where I can bring value and look forward to the challenge. I love creating something new that brings value to the organization, or taking what we currently have and making it better. I am always looking for ways to improve or make things better than how I found them”.

Belinda’s goal for the department is to create an environment where HR is seen as an advocate for both employees and the company. As we enter the second half of the year, her primary focus will be leadership training and performance management in addition to reviewing and updating the current benefit programs.

As the human resource department grows, she is looking for people who want to collaborate and work together. “We can do anything if we are all working toward the same goal. In HR, customer service is our number one goal – whether it be internal or external, our number one goal is to service our customers. I look at HR as a customer service agent from hire to retire; to help in every step along the process.” Specifically, Belinda said she’d like to give a special shoutout to Renee and Kim for helping her get familiar with Aries' current resources.
